Old Soldiers Records (OSR) is Central Texas, Killeen and Fort
Hood's latest and greatest record label. The proprietor, Paul
Fleming, created the label to further his personal music
interest and goals, though his intent is to ultimately provide
opportunities to talented writers, singers, musicians and
entertainers and to develop and cultivate their skills so as to
ensure he or she reaches his fullest potential. Having served
in both the U.S. Air Force and Army, OSR's CEO is fully aware
of the talent of our men and women in uniform. As soldiers
complete their commitments and return to civilian life, there
will be some who are talented enough to also succeed in the
music business. It is our intent to afford them the
opportunity to do so.
The label will solicit the support of local studios, engineers
and producers to ensure products reflect the best we have to
offer. While financial development and the subsequent
acquisition of capital will be a concern, the development,
production and promotion of positive music with literary value
takes precedence and shall be the primary objective of the
label. Lyrics and music containing profanity and or material
which denigrates women as well as selections which are
distasteful from a literary perspective shall not be accepted
nor produced by this label.
