Our mission is to create, develop and produce positive,
enlightening and entertaining music of the highest literary
value. Contrary to most labels, Old Soldier Records (OSR) is
dedicated to providing the general public with good clean
entertainment which will always be suitable for the entire
family. Our name is indicative of our esteem for the U.S
Armed Forces. We owe a debt of gratitude to soldiers, old
and new. We will therefore establish and maintain standards
which are consistent with those which have served soldiers so
well.
Our first commercial product, a single entitled "Red, White &
Blue Americans" is an example of the type of music we as a
label are committed to produce. While there will be a variety
of genres, positive and powerful lyrics which characterize
American life will be common to each. In as much as we
would write only material of substance and literary value,
neither would we associate ourselves with material
inappropriate for our audiences. As we grow, we intend to
seek out and cultivate new talent which share our goals,
interests and standards.
